The  MT242 HEC  boasts numerous standard features that can make this series a perfect fit for many applications.  Equipped with a Deluxe Cab with Heat and AC work in comfort all year around.  There is a pair of rear hydraulic remotes standard to power your future attachments.  The quick attach loader with a 2,506 lb lift capacity is included with the tractor.   The MT242HEC comes with a dual pedal 3 speed (Hi, Medium, Low) hydro-static transmission for easy hassle free smooth operation from forward to reverse.  The three point hitch can handle lifting 1,433lbs so you know it is more than capable of handling a lot of different attachments off the back end. Powered by a Premium 42.5 HP Yanmar Diesel Engine you will enjoy plenty of power and longevity for years to come.  I forgot to tell you that yes, it does have a 540 rear pto.  You can easily chose and shift from 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive if you need it, when you need it.   If you still need more traction, you can push down the rear wheel locking differential lever with your heal and get even more traction.
